It’s Summer holiday time and that means a few things in our office. No, not just Pimm’s o’clock (although this is very much a necessity of summer), you will also find us juggling and negotiating trade offs with childcare/working days or bribing our children to be quiet on our work from home days!
Whilst we recognise lots of our clients go out of the UK for Summer holidays, there are still lots that choose a UK stay cation – and this means temporary staff is often needed. The Luxury Hospitality venues are also super busy with events and are often looking for temporary event staff. If you are a candidate searching for temporary work over the next few weeks, please do drop us an email and your CV (if we do not have it already) and either Annalisa or Matt will give you a call.

Following on from the above, everyone in the industry knows that come end of August/September everyone is back from their sunny weeks away and clients are ready to recruit. It is usually a very busy time for recruitment in the private household sector and therefore the next few weeks is an ideal time for new candidates to register with Shire & Wold Staffing or, if already registered, please do send us an email and we can reconnect.
