Travelling Nanny/Mallorca/ Dubai

A warm and down-to-earth international family is seeking an experienced, professional, and career-focused Live-in Nanny to care for their 7-month-old son. This is a long-term opportunity for a dedicated nanny who is genuinely passionate about childcare and looking to become an integral part of a respectful and appreciative household.

The family is primarily based in Mallorca during the summer months, with regular travel to the UK and various holiday destinations, before relocating to Dubai for the winter season. Accommodation is provided in all locations, along with travel expenses when accompanying the family.

The Role

You will work in a shared-care capacity alongside the parents while also being confident stepping into sole charge and proxy parenting responsibilities when required. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, flexible, proactive, and an excellent communicator, particularly in building a strong professional relationship with the mother.

Duties will include:

  • Planning and organising age-appropriate sensory and developmental activities
  • Supporting and implementing sleep routines
  • Preparing meals for the child
  • Managing all nursery duties and standard nanny responsibilities
  • Travelling with the family internationally
  • Providing attentive, nurturing, and developmentally focused care

Candidate Requirements

The family is looking for a nanny who is:

  • Professional, mature, and highly discreet
  • Warm, maternal, and genuinely passionate about childcare
  • Educated, polished, and confident in conversation
  • Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic family lifestyle
  • Able to work collaboratively with parents while taking initiative independently
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (Spanish would be a bonus)
  • A confident driver (essential – car provided in all locations)
  • Ideally an EU passport holder to allow for ease of travel

Accommodation

  • Mallorca: Private apartment next door to the family home
  • Dubai: Accommodation within the family apartment initially, with potential for private accommodation in the future

Schedule

  • Wednesday to Monday – Tuesdays off
  • Typically 8am – 6/7pm with flexibility required
  • The family is described as extremely respectful and understanding, ensuring fair scheduling, downtime during the day, and days off in lieu during busier periods

Salary & Benefits

  • £60,000 – £80,000 gross per annum, depending on experience (negotiable)
  • Accommodation provided in all locations
  • Travel expenses covered during family holidays

Essential Qualifications

  • Enhanced DBS
  • Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Clean driving license
