Temporary Houseman – Private UHNW Household (Cotswolds)
Location: Cotswolds, Chipping Norton, UK
Contract: Temporary (multiple dates)
Start Dates: May half term, additional weekends, and early July
Rate: £20.00 – £22.50 gross per hour (paid via agency)
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and hands-on Houseman to support a busy private household in the Cotswolds across several key upcoming periods. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable all rounder who enjoys working in a dynamic, fully staffed environment and takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards.
The successful candidate will be adaptable, self-motivated, and confident in taking initiative, with a “no task too small” approach. This is a varied role where flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the care of four family dogs (feeding, walking, general wellbeing)
- Daily setup and breakdown of outdoor areas, including covering/uncovering furniture
- Moving and arranging outdoor furniture as required
- Preparing, maintaining, and organising bicycles for family use
- Running errands, including food collection and vehicle refuelling
- Managing waste disposal and maintaining outdoor spaces to a high standard
- Collecting deliveries and packages from the estate entrance
- Providing flexible, ad hoc support to the wider household team
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in a private household or similar high-standard environment preferred
- Proactive, practical, and willing to take initiative
- Calm, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast paced setting
- Discreet, dependable, and a strong team player
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to excellence
- Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Valid DBS
Key Dates:
- May Half Term (from 22nd May)
- Additional weekends throughout June (up to 12th June)
- 4th July – 12th July
Flexibility across these dates is essential.
Working Hours:
- Typically 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Weekend work required
