Temporary Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable, detail oriented Housekeeper whose primary responsibility is maintaining a clean, organised, and smoothly run household. In addition, this role includes occasional babysitting duties when parents attend day and evening events or require childcare support.

The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, and comfortable working around children. This is a temporary 2 week placement starting 26th June – 12th July

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping (Primary Focus)

• Daily cleaning of all living areas (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, common spaces)
• Laundry and ironing
• Changing bed linens and maintaining household supplies
• Tidying, organising, and maintaining a clutter-free environment
• Light meal preparation and kitchen upkeep
• Running household errands (e.g., groceries, dry cleaning)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in housekeeping
• Trustworthy, discreet, and dependable
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Basic cooking skills
• Valid enhanced DBS is a MUST
• References required

Additional information:

Location between Witney and Oxford (Eynsham)

Salary £20 – £25 per hour

Monday – Friday 9am – 5/6pm

Start date 26th June – 12th July
