We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Housekeeper to support a private household in Burford over the summer period (June–September), while the family is in residence. You will be working as part of a small and professional housekeeping team to ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards at all times.
Duties outlined but not limited to :
- Daily housekeeping duties including cleaning, tidying, and maintaining all living spaces
- Laundry and ironing, including care of delicate and fine fabrics
- Ensuring the spa and wellness facilities are cleaned and presented to an exceptional standard
- Keeping all entrances and shared spaces immaculate and guest-ready
- Weekend work as part of a team rota
- Supporting a household with small dogs – pet-friendly attitude essential
Requirements:
- Proven housekeeping experience in a private household or luxury hospitality setting
- High attention to detail and a pride in maintaining standards
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexible with working hours, especially during busy weekends
- Comfortable around small dogs
- Available for the full summer period (June to September)
Location: Burford, Oxfordshire
Dates: June – September 2025
Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Salary: £22 per hour
Hours: Ideally Thursday – Sunday (5 days per week, including occasional weekends on a rota)
