Our clients have a beautiful Country Estate , in Berkshire and
are looking for a Temporary Housekeeper to support them over the
shoot season and festive period . The right candidate will work
with the Housekeeping team and provide a high level of service to
the family & their guests. The ideal candidate will have previous
experience working in a Private House or working in a
Housekeeping position to a high standard this is a beautiful
family residence and attention to detail is key .
Duties Outlined but not limited to :
* To maintain the highest standard of housekeeping at all times
* Cleaning of the Estate Office.
* Being an active part of the team during the busy festive period
* Hands-on cleaning, laundry, and ironing to a high standard
* You should have experience in the care of antiques and fabrics,
care of public and private rooms, training can be given
* Bedmaking and changing linen
* Preparing the playroom/nursery for grandchildren
* Setting table for meals
* Assistance at shoot lunches both family and commercial
* Must like dogs and confident with large boisterous dogs as the
duties will also involve walking, feeding, and caring for 2
Labradors.
* Shopping locally, going to the cleaners, shopping at
supermarkets, taking prescriptions to Chemist, and other errands
as needed.
Due to the location of the property driving essential
Salary £18- £20 per experience dependent
Double hourly rate – Christmas Day , Boxing day and New Year
Thursday to Monday – daily hours are shift based between 7am-9pm.
Some flexibility may be needed outside of these hours.
