Job Summary
- Provide comprehensive maintenance, fault-finding, and repair services across multiple UHNW residences in London with occasional visits to the Cotswolds.
- Ensure optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
- Deliver a discreet, high-quality service with minimal disruption to principals, guests, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and repair faults across boilers, heating, water systems, pumps, HVAC, appliances, and electrical systems.
- Maintain and monitor plant rooms, utility systems, and infrastructure.
- Respond efficiently to urgent faults, breakdowns, and emergency call-outs.
- Conduct proactive inspections to identify risks and prevent system failures.
- Liaise with and supervise contractors, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Maintain accurate service records, logs, and compliance documentation.
- Support installation, upgrades, and refurbishment projects.
- Ensure all work adheres to health & safety regulations and best practices.
- Deliver excellent service standards in a client-facing UHNW environment.
Technical Expertise
- Heating systems, boilers (e.g., Viessmann)
- Domestic water systems, pressurised cylinders
- Pumps (booster and circulation)
- Air conditioning and MVHR systems (Daikin, Fujitsu, Nuaire)
- Security systems: CCTV, alarms, access control
- Lighting systems (e.g., Lutron)
- BMS systems (e.g., Trend IQView)
- Kitchen appliances (e.g., Gaggenau, Sub-Zero)
- Electrical fault finding and general maintenance
- Plumbing and mechanical troubleshooting
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in UHNW, luxury residential, five star hotels or high-end environments.
- Strong multi-skilled engineering expertise across multiple disciplines.
- Ability to independently manage tasks and see issues through to completion.
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Professional, discreet, and trustworthy.
- Comfortable working in occupied, high-profile residences.
- Flexible and available for out-of-hours or emergency support.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualifications in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or building services.
- Experience in luxury residential, hospitality, or estate environments preferred.
- Certifications in relevant engineering disciplines are advantageous.
