The Opportunity:
Our clients, who own a beautiful private residence in Somerset, are seeking an experienced and proactive Part-Time Housekeeper to join their established household team. Working alongside the Head Housekeeper, you will play an important role in maintaining the home to an exceptional standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional housekeeper looking for a long-term position within a warm and welcoming private household.
The Role:
Working every Monday and Friday, you will support the Head Housekeeper with the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it remains immaculate and well organised. When the family are away, there will be opportunities to carry out more detailed deep cleaning projects.
There is also scope for additional hours to provide cover during:
· School holidays and half terms
· The Head Housekeeper’s annual leave
· Busy family periods, including Christmas
· Other occasions as required
Key Responsibilities:
· General housekeeping to a high standard
· Laundry and garment care
· Deep cleaning when the family are away
· Running household errands
· Assisting the Head Housekeeper with the smooth day-to-day running of the property
· Maintaining high levels of organisation throughout the home
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:
· Have previous experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household
· Have excellent attention to detail and high housekeeping standards
· Be organised, reliable and proactive
· Be happy working both independently and as part of a household team
· Be flexible and willing to increase hours when additional support is required
· Hold a full UK driving licence (preferred due to the rural location)
Package:
· £18–£22 gross per hour, depending on experience
· Monday and Friday working pattern (16 hours per week)
