The Opportunity:
Our clients are seeking an experienced and reliable Temporary Housekeeper to support them at their London residence ahead of planned renovation works due to commence in October.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional housekeeper looking for a regular one-day-per-week position within a welcoming private household.
The Role:
Working one day each week, preferably on a Friday, you will be responsible for maintaining the home to a high standard, ensuring it is clean, organised and well stocked.
Although the property is a spacious six-bedroom home, only the principal bedroom, kitchen and snug are currently in regular use. The remaining areas require general upkeep, including dusting and vacuuming, to keep the property fresh and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
· General housekeeping and cleaning throughout the property
· Changing bed linen and caring for laundry as required
· Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
· Dusting and vacuuming throughout the home
· Shopping for household essentials and provisions
· Emptying bins and managing household waste
· Ensuring the property remains tidy, organised and presented to a high standard
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:
· Have previous experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household
· Be proactive, organised and able to work independently
· Have exceptional attention to detail and take pride in their work
· Be trustworthy, discreet and reliable
· Be happy to undertake household shopping and errands
· Be able to use their initiative and maintain the home with minimal supervision
Package:
· £25 gross per hour
· One day per week (preferably Friday)
· Immediate start:
· Temporary position until October 2026
