Part -time Housekeeper

A friendly country family are seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time Housekeeper to help manage their home, situated between Cheltenham and Cirencester. The role will involve general housekeeping, laundry, ironing, running errands, and providing occasional support around the home as needed. The family have teenage children (who are at boarding school during term time), two dogs, and horses on the property, so someone who enjoys animals is essential. A background or confidence in equine care would be desirable, though not essential. The family will be moving to a new property near Cirencester and Tetbury in the coming months, and it would be ideal if the successful candidate were happy to continue in the role following the move.

Duties Outlined but include but are not limited to:

• General housekeeping and cleaning of all areas of the home
• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
• Running errands and household support as required
• Occasional dog care (feeding, walking, etc.)
• Helping to keep the home organised and running smoothly

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience in a private home or similar setting
• Full driving licence and own transport (essential)
• Discreet, reliable, and self-motivated
• Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of work
• Comfortable around dogs and horses
• Trustworthy, proactive, and adaptable

Location: Between Cheltenham and Cirencester (moving near Cirencester / Tetbury in the coming months)

Hours: Part-time (flexible for the right candidate) 8.30am – 12 noon x 4 days a week 

Start Date: ASAP 

Salary: £17 -£20 per hour
