Our clients, with a beautiful residence close to Virginia Water in Surrey, are seeking a Part-time Housekeeper to join their small friendly team of household staff.
Duties include:
- All aspects of hands-on housekeeping – cleaning, tidying and organising
- Laundry and ironing
- Unpacking for the principles
- Changing bed linen
- Deep cleaning when the family are away
- Ordering groceries and household products
- Laying and clearing the table
- Arranging flowers
- Ad hoc errands
This is a large property consisting of 6 bedrooms, along with a gym, sauna, steam room, and outdoor pool with pool house.
The family do occasionally entertain, so the willingness and ability to offer some flexibility for evening/weekend work is desirable – these events are planned in advance so notice would be given.
Candidate requirements:
- Knowledgeable and meticulous with all aspects of housekeeping and care of delicate fabrics, furnishings and high end flooring
- Proven experience within a similar position with excellent checkable references
- Bubbly and friendly but respectful of family boundaries
- Full UK license with own car – there is no public transport close by to the property
- Pet friendly – the family have dogs
- Hardworking, team orientated with a can-do attitude
- Well organised and able to pivot
- Good level of English
- Competent with use of technology such as intercoms, TV systems – training will be provided
Working days: Monday to Friday
Working hours: 10am – 2pm (some flexibility)
Hourly rate: £20-£22 gross per hour
