We are seeking a warm, kind, adaptable, and fun Nanny for a lovely family just north of Bicester, in Steeple Aston. The family has three children, aged 4, 5, and 7, who attend different schools.
The main focus of this role is evening support, with flexibility during the day as needed. The family requires availability over all school holidays, not just the summer, as the children have longer holiday periods. The family is relaxed and welcoming and is looking for a genuine team member to become an extended part of the family. This is a wonderful opportunity for a caring, adaptable candidate who enjoys providing hands-on support and being an integral part of family life.
Duties:
- Evening support: assisting with meals, homework, bedtime routines, reading, and age-appropriate activities.
- School pick-ups and drop-offs as required (e.g., youngest child picked up at 12 noon on Fridays).
- Supporting the mother with children’s activities and daily routines.
- Preparing and supporting children’s supper and snacks.
- Creating a warm, engaging, and structured environment for the children while maintaining routines.
- Occasional proxy parenting and babysitting on weekends (with additional pay).
- Children wardrobe Managment
Hours:
- Main focus on evenings, with flexibility during the day as needed.
- Ideal Hours – Start 2pm -8pm Monday Thursday. 12 noon – 8pm Friday (if local school drop off if required in the morning pre arranged )
- Flexible working during all school holidays is required 9am – 6pm
Requirements:
- Driving is essential.
- Soft, caring, and adaptable to each child’s needs.
- Warm, kind, and fun personality to engage with children.
- Comfortable caring for pets (the family may have a dog in the future).
