We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper to deliver exceptional service within a private household. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in high-end or UHNW residences and take pride in maintaining impeccable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the property to the highest cleaning standards.
- Follow task lists set by the House Manager and ensure smooth shift handovers.
- Monitor household supplies, check perishable items, restock pantries, and prepare shopping lists as required.
- Assist with light meal preparation and coordinate with the Chef when on duty.
- Care for household details including flowers, lighting, shutters, garden areas, and appliances.
- Provide attentive support to the Client, including pet care, occasional travel accompaniment, and medical appointments if required.
- Liaise with household staff and report directly to the Lead Housekeeper and House Manager.
- Report maintenance issues promptly.
Candidate Profile
- Meticulous, discreet, trustworthy, and reliable.
- Energetic team player with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Flexible to work overtime and occasional night shifts.
- Confident working independently while maintaining high standards.
- Basic cooking skills and willingness to learn.
- 2–5 years’ experience in a similar private household role.
Position Details
- Permanent role (3-month probation).
- 45 hours per week (rota-based, includes weekends and 1 night shift per week if required).
- Uniform provided.
- 28 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays).
- Salary up to £48,000 + £20 per hour overtime.
