Live-out Housekeeper

Our client, currently residing in Belgravia but with an imminent move to St John’s Wood (in July), are seeking a Live-out Housekeeper to join their small team of household staff.

Working alongside one other Housekeeper, along with a Chef, Nanny and Driver you will be responsible for the upkeep of this stunning property. The family are down-to-earth, a couple with four lively children, who take great care of their team.

Duties include:

• Hands on housekeeping – cleaning, tidying and organising
• Laundry and ironing
• Wardrobe management
• Changing bed linen
• Care of fine fabrics and surfaces
• Running errands and ad hoc duties as required
• Organising of school uniform, items for school, helping nanny when required.

We are searching for a kind, warm hearted individual to join this lovely team – nanny employed but being child-friendly is a must.

Candidate requirements:

• Proven experience working within a similar role with excellent checkable references
• Team player with a calm, hardworking demeanour
• Clean DBS check
• Flexibility required, plans can change

The family reside in London during the week and then go to the countryside over the weekend – if there are guests in the country you may be required to travel with them for a weekend to assist there and live-in at the residence for a few days if required during school holidays. Likewise, if they decide to stay in London, you might be needed to work over the weekend in in London about once a month – this is planned in advance.

Working days: Monday to Friday with the very occasional requirement to work over the weekend

Working days: 10 hours per day to be discussed

Salary: competitive depending on experience
