Live- Out Housekeeper

Our clients, who have a beautiful family home in a village in North Oxfordshire (between Banbury and Chipping Norton), are seeking a flexible and experienced Housekeeper to care for their home. The property is a large country residence, with a separate 2-bedroom (occupied) annex that will occasionally require cleaning. The family consists of three children, all of whom have a full-time live in Nanny. They do have family pets, including a dog and a fish, which may need occasional care, as the children are real animal lovers. Occasionally, the family may host guests at their residence, and room turnovers will need to be managed accordingly. The ideal candidate will be experienced and happy to support the family where needed, this may include running errands, preparing simple meals for the children if the nanny is unavailable, and possibly taking on additional duties, including overtime, if required. The family is informal but expects a high level of attention to detail and discretion when it comes to their privacy as they value someone who is trustworthy and loyal. They are looking for someone who will stay with the family on a long-term basis and become an integral member of their team.

Duties outlined but not limited to:

• Daily housekeeping
• Making beds daily and cleaning bathrooms
• Linen and bedding is out sourced
• Family laundry and ironing
• Cooking is an added bonus, not essential
• Flower arrangements and attending to house plants
• Errand running
• Stock control of pantry
• Flexibility to support Nanny on occasions with the children

• They are looking for someone to start ASAP.
• Driving is essential for this role due to the location and nature of the work.
• This position is to be on a self-employed basis.
• The pay range is £18 – £25 per hour, depending on experience.
• A minimum of 4-5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for additional hours when required.
