A British couple who have recently relocated to Dubai are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to support the smooth running of their private household.
This is a warm, informal family home; however, the successful candidate must understand professional household boundaries and deliver consistently high standards of housekeeping and organisation.
The household is preparing to welcome their first baby, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a family environment and supporting a calm, organised home.
The role combines hands-on housekeeping duties with oversight and coordination of household operations, working collaboratively with the household Chef who has relocated with the family from the UK.
Candidates already based in Dubai are preferred, strong international candidates with relevant backgrounds, including yachting experience, will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties
- Maintain excellent cleanliness and presentation throughout the residence
- Daily cleaning, organisation and upkeep of all living areas
- Laundry and ironing, including delicate fabrics
- Wardrobe and linen organisation
- Ensuring guest areas are maintained to high standards
Household Support & Management
- Assist with the organisation and smooth running of the household
- Coordinate household supplies and stock control
- Liaise with contractors or services when required
- Support household logistics and day-to-day operations
Family & Household Environment
- Work harmoniously within a relaxed family home
- Comfortable working alongside a private Chef
- Assist with general household organisation as the family prepares for the arrival of their baby
Pet Care
- Comfortable around cats, as the household has two cats
- Feeding, general care, and administering medication when required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working in a private household essential
- Experience in informal households while maintaining professional standards
- Strong housekeeping skills with excellent attention to detail
- Able to support household organisation and operations
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using household systems and basic computer tasks
- Proactive, organised and forward-thinking approach
- Comfortable working in a family home environment
- Pet-friendly with no allergies to cats
- Yachting or luxury hospitality background also considered advantageous
- Candidates already based in Dubai preferred
Working Schedule & Package
- 5 working days per week
- Live-out position
- Salary starting from AED 12-15,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience
