Live- in /out Nanny

A lovely family with three young children (aged 2, 3, and 6) is looking for an experienced, proactive live in or live out Nanny to join their household in the West Berkshire area. This is a shared care role, working alongside a hands-on mum who is actively involved with the children. The family is seeking someone confident, capable, and kind—someone who naturally takes initiative and genuinely enjoys being part of a busy family life.

The ideal candidate will have experience with a range of early years and school-age needs, and will be comfortable balancing structure with play. A clear and articulate speaking style is important, as one of the children is working with a speech therapist and will need support with exercises at home.

Duties Outlined but not limited to:

• All general nursery duties
• School and nursery drop-offs/pick-ups and attending activities
• Preparing healthy, balanced meals for the children (nut allergy awareness required)
• Supporting speech therapy exercises as directed by a professional
• Planning fun, age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities
• Accompanying the family on travel during school holidays

• A warm, engaging Nanny who is well-presented and well-spoken
• Strong experience with toddlers and young children
• A team player who’s happy to ‘muck in’ when needed
• Someone playful, outdoorsy, and creative with a calm and confident approach
• Organised and able to support routines across multiple age groups
• A confident driver (essential for the role)

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS (issued within 12 months or on the Update Service)
• Paediatric First Aid (current)
• Right to work in the UK

Schedule:

• Days: Tuesday to Saturday or Monday to Friday (with two weekend days per month)
• Hours: 7:30am–7:00pm
• Driving: Essential

Accommodation (if live-in):

A beautifully presented private annexe with separate entrance, including a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and lounge area.

Salary: £45,000–£55,000 GPA, depending on experience
