Live- in or Live-out Chef

Our clients are looking for a professional and experienced Rota Chef for a UHNW private household based in Burford, Oxfordshire. This is a seasonal position, operating annually from early October through to the beginning of April.

The Chef will primarily be cooking for two principals, with occasional guests. The position requires someone flexible, discreet, and confident in preparing a wide range of dishes tailored to specific dietary requirements, which will be explained during the handover.

This role can be live-in if required, with private accommodation provided.

Duties outlined not limited to:

  • Prepare and serve daily meals according to the principals’ preferences and dietary needs.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organised, and professional kitchen environment.
  • Ensure efficient stock management and sourcing of top-quality ingredients.
  • Work collaboratively during the trial period to fully understand the household’s needs.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality, beautifully presented meals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Private Chef in UHNW households or luxury hospitality.
  • Confident with a variety of cuisines and sensitive to dietary restrictions (details provided).
  • Highly flexible, discreet, and professional.
  • Willing to work within a rota and commit to the seasonal schedule.
  • Available for a 2-week trial prior to starting.
  • Comfortable working autonomously, with a proactive and organised approach.

Live-in accommodation available if required, must be able to drive due to location.

Location: Burford, Oxfordshire

Hours: 11 am – 8 pm, approx 70 – Hours per week Day off 1 days a week .

Trial: 2 days to take place June – July

Contract: Seasonal (October–April, annually)

Start Date: Mid September
