Our clients, based in a beautiful village near Woodstock, Oxfordshire, are looking for a experienced live-in Housekeeper to maintain their family property. You will be working as part of a large team in a fully staffed house.
Due to the location of the property they welcome family members and pets. The property is a beautiful two-bedroom coach house which is located on the grounds of the main house.
Duties outlined but not limited too:
- Household care, cleaning, organising, and managing
- Laundry and ironing
- Silver polishing and care for the family China
- Cleaning and caring for household valuables including art and rugs
- Flower arranging and table setting with flowers from the garden
- Laying fires, cleaning the fireplace, and booking the annual chimney sweep service
- Preparing for arrival of visitors, welcoming them, and caring for their various needs
- Detailed attention to the preparation and presentation of the bedlinens and bathrooms
- Wardrobe management, including delicate laundry care
- Making household purchases
- Supporting the family chef for food/grocery orders and deliveries
- Table service (formal and informal)
- Covering events in Oxford and London (service, cleaning)
- Cook small meals if the chef is not present
- Liaison with the London team including the PA and housekeeper
- Happy to help care for the family dog.
Salary: £50,000 (experience dependent)
