Live-in Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and warm Housekeeper for a beautiful country home in the Cotswolds, supporting a family of three. This role would suit a kind, proactive, and well-organised individual who takes pride in maintaining a high standard home, communicates well with principals, and manages their time effectively. You will be working closely with a wider team and Housekeeper the family also have a second property in Oxford, which will require regular care and attention, to ensure both properties are maintained to an exceptional standard. Flexibility is required, particularly when the family are in residence, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Duties outlined but not limited to:

Housekeeping & Household Management

• Hands-on housekeeping to a high standard
• Cleaning, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
• Packing and unpacking for trips
• Preparing family and guest bedrooms
• Assisting with occasional entertaining and house guests

Cooking & Provisioning

• Preparing simple, wholesome meals for the family
• Food shopping, ordering, and household errands
• Assisting with light household administration if required

Property & General Duties

• Light upkeep of outdoor areas (gardener employed)
• Occasional support at an additional small Oxford property

Family & Lifestyle Support

• Care of two well-behaved dogs
• Occasional supervision of a teenager
• Driving duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a private household
• Confident driver with a clean licence
• Excellent, checkable references
• Fluent English (Tagalog speaking preferred)
• Flexible, reliable, and professional
• High levels of discretion and organisation
• Enhanced DBS check required

Accommodation

Separate 2-bedroom cottage within the grounds (utilities covered)

Hours

Full-time, approximately 45 hours per week, with flexibility required
