Our client, a British businessman based in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Household PA to support the day-to-day management of his personal life and ensure the smooth running of his household. This is a hands-on, dynamic role within a busy household, ideally suited to someone who thrives on organisation, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving. If you have worked as an Executive Housekeeper or been within a position where you have overseen the day to day running of a household.
The Household PA will act as a key point of coordination for the household, ensuring all aspects of the home operate efficiently so the principal can focus on his personal and professional life. The position will likely develop over time, offering scope to take on increased responsibility as required.
The household includes three children aged 9–17, educated between Dubai and the UK. A nanny and domestic staff are already employed, alongside additional external service providers. The ideal candidate will oversee staff, contractors, and household operations, maintaining the highest standards at all times. Occasional involvement with UK properties may be required after time, so candidates holding a British passport or have the legal ability to travel freely between the UK and UAE would be desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily running and organisation of the Dubai residence
- Act as the principal’s trusted right-hand for lifestyle and household management
- Manage household staff, schedules, and external suppliers. Taking deliveries
- Ensure the home is fully stocked, organised, and running smoothly
- Coordinate property maintenance, snagging, and repairs
- Obtain quotes and liaise with contractors and service providers
- Manage vehicles, including servicing schedules, insurance, and documentation
- Keep track of household paperwork, insurance policies, renewals, and taxes
- Assist with personal logistics, travel arrangements, and day-to-day requests
- Support the household when children are in residence
- Liaise with UK properties when required and manage cross-location logistics
- Anticipate needs and deliver proactive, solutions-led support
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a UHNW household
- Highly organised with excellent administrative and logistical skills
- Confident managing staff and coordinating multiple moving parts
- Forward-thinking with the ability to anticipate needs
- Comfortable working hands-on in a household environment
- Discreet, trustworthy, and professional at all times
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Ideally a British passport or legal ability to travel freely between the UK and UAE
- Experience overseeing multiple residences is advantageous
Live-In Accommodation:
- Provided within the household on the lower floor
- Private bedroom + second room (can be used as sitting room)
- Own bathroom and kitchen
Working Schedule:
- Likely 6 days a week, with flexibility for the right candidate
- Time off coordinated during the week once household systems are running smoothly
