Our clients have a beautiful 5-bedroom family home based in the
village of Great Tew, North Oxfordshire. The family has 3
children aged 9, 13 and 16 and two multi-Poo's, so being a dog
lover is essential as walking and caring for the dogs is part of
the role. They are a busy family and are looking for a
Housekeeper to support with the daily running of the house. The
ideal candidate will have great organisation skills, be able to
work on their own initiative so the house runs smoothly and
effectively as possible. On occasions, you may be asked to do a
school pick up or make supper for the children, if the principals
are unable too, however, they like to be very hands on with their
family life and after-school activities with the children.
Duties outlined but not limited to:
* Daily Housekeeping – Ensuring kitchen and receptions rooms are
tidy and clean
* Family laundry and ironing on a daily basis
* Changing beds – Bedding is out sourced cleaning and pressing
* Stock control in pantry and fridge
* Making sure all cupboards are functional and organised
* Wardrobe management of the children's clothes when required
* Occasional family style simple cooking for the children
* Walking and caring for the dogs
* Driving is essential due to the location
They are looking for 6 – 8 hours per day, either Mon – Friday or
Tuesday – Saturday
Salary £30,000 -£38,500 salary is negotiable (hours and
experience dependent)
