Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced, professional Housekeeper for a beautiful country home in the Chipping Norton supporting a busy family of three. This is a busy, hands-on role working across a large property, with additional support required at the family’s second home in Oxford. You will work closely with another Housekeeper and the wider household team to ensure both properties are maintained to an exceptional standard. A good level of fitness and energy is important for this position. This position would suit a kind, proactive, and well-organised individual who takes pride in maintaining a high standard home and manages their time effectively.

Flexibility is essential, particularly when the family are in residence, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Duties outlined but not limited to :

Housekeeping & Household Management

• Hands-on housekeeping to a high standard
• Cleaning, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
• Packing and unpacking for trips
• Preparing family and guest bedrooms
• Assisting with entertaining and house guests

Cooking & Provisioning

• Supporting with cooking duties alongside the other Housekeeper as needed
• Food shopping, ordering, and household errands
• Assisting with light household administration if required

Property & General Duties

• Light upkeep of outdoor areas (gardener employed)
• Occasional support at the Oxford property

Family & Lifestyle Support

• Care of two well-behaved dogs
• Occasional supervision of a teenager
• Driving duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a private household
• Confident driver with a clean licence
• Excellent, checkable references
• Fluent English (Tagalog speaking preferred)
• Flexible, reliable, and professional
• High levels of discretion and organisation
• Enhanced DBS check required

Hours Full-time, approximately 45 hours per week, with flexibility required

Salary £40,000 per annum
