We are seeking an experienced, highly organised Housekeeper with strong wardrobe and garment care expertise to join a UHNW private household in Primrose Hill. This role blends high-level housekeeping, wardrobe management, laundry, and travel preparation, making it ideal for a capable all-rounder who takes pride in impeccable standards.
The household is run by a semi-retired couple with grown-up children, currently in the process of leaving home. Flexibility is appreciated, including occasional later finishes or travel with the family (taxi home provided when required).
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Household Management
- Maintain the home to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Ensure bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, and common areas remain immaculate
- Support daily resets and general household organisation
Wardrobe & Garment Care
- Manage wardrobes and storage, ensuring garments are well organised and accessible
- Handle laundry, pressing, steaming, and folding to professional standards
- Monitor clothing for damage or minor repairs, including delicate fabrics and designer pieces
Travel & Personal Preparation
- Pack and prepare clothing and personal items for travel
- Ensure garments are clean, pressed, and travel-ready
- Unpack and reorganise wardrobes upon return
Additional Duties
- Basic garment repairs (e.g., sewing buttons)
- Maintain shoes, accessories, and personal items
- Assist with occasional evening household resets
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in UHNW private households
- Expertise with designer clothing and fine fabrics
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisation
- Discreet, reliable, and professional
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Non-smoker; no pets due to household allergies
Working Schedule
- Working hours Thursday – Monday (Tuesday and Wednesday off)
- 45-hour working week (9-hour days, excluding unpaid breaks)
- Flexible start/finish times and occasional later hours on a Friday and Saturday
- Occasional travel with the family
- Occasional stay at residence when needed
Salary: Between 50-55k per annum, depending on experience.
