Housekeeper

A lovely family based in the village of Nether Westcott are seeking a reliable and friendly part-time housekeeper. The family has two small boys under the age of three, and the household includes a very friendly Springer Spaniel. You’ll work as part of a small team alongside a nanny who provides support when the principals are working.

The family home consists of four bedrooms and four bathrooms (two are used regularly; the others are guest bathrooms). The family will be starting building work on the property early next year, but this will not impact the role.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• General cleaning, including kitchen surfaces, floors, and bathrooms
• Laundry, washing, and occasional ironing for the male principal
• Putting away washing
• Deep cleaning as required
• Household organisation, including the fridge and cupboards (on a monthly basis)
• Occasional support with other household tasks as requested

Requirements:

• Must drive (due to property location)
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Friendly, reliable, and proactive attitude

Job Title: Part-Time Housekeeper

Location: Near Westcott, between Burford and Stow-on-the-Wold

Hours: Part-time, ideally Tuesdays and Fridays, approximately 5–6 hours per day (flexible for the right candidate)

Salary: £18–£20 per hour
