We are seeking an experienced, creative, organised Head Chef to join an established kitchen team within a beautiful countryside pub close to Holmrook in the Lake District.
The pub has a hotel joined – with 20 bedrooms, an average of 100-120 covers in the restaurant on an average weekend evening.
The venue itself is open 365 days per year with the demographic of guests and customers being walkers and campers due to the rural but stunning location.
As the Head Chef you would be responsible for menu writing, provisioning and maintaining the kitchens – ensuring that the kitchen staff run as a well oiled machine.
Please note this position is open to local candidates as accommodation is not provided – you must be a driver due to the location and the potential need to run errands.
Experience working within a similar role is essential.
Working on a rota basis with flexibility for longer hours during peak seasons.
Salary: £50,000 gross per annum.
