Our clients who have a large estate near Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Experienced under gardener required for prestigious project in Oxfordshire. RHS level 2 or equivalent practical experience to be part of a larger team. A passion for plants with an excellent eye for detail and the willingness to brainstorm ideas, and as part of a team, strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
You will:
- Help to provide efficient, high quality skilled maintenance of the gardens
- Assist in the ongoing maintenance and management of planting, grass areas and water features
- Operate and maintain garden tools and equipment
- Collaborate with the Estate Manager, Head Gardener, and the Designer.
- Have good stamina to carry out physically demanding work.
We require the applicant to have a passion for plants and gardens and to work in a way that is mindful of the owner’s privacy and specific requirements. All tasks must be carried out to a high standard.
Working hrs: Mon-Fri 8- hrs per day, 5 days per working week, on a flexible basis. Additional hours may be required.
Salary: £40,000 gross per annum
