We are seeking meticulous, reliable, and discreet Temporary Housekeepers to join the House Team of a prestigious private estate in Hampshire, to work 5/6 days a week from the start of September until the end of January. This role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation throughout the residence, ensuring all areas are impeccably maintained and guest-ready at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping Duties
- Maintain all areas of the estate to the highest standards, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising, and polishing
- Ensure immaculate presentation throughout the main house, guest areas, cottages, studios, outbuildings, and staff accommodation
- Care for fine furniture, fixtures, silverware, and delicate surfaces and materials
- Conduct thorough inspections of all areas, including high-traffic and less visible spaces, to ensure consistency and quality
- Support seasonal deep cleans and preparations for family visits and events
- Identify and report maintenance or repair requirements promptly
- Maintain appropriate stock levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a formal private residence, luxury yacht, or high-end hotel environment
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills, and pride in delivering consistently high standards
- Flexible, proactive, and dependable, with a willingness to support across the estate as required
- Energetic and physically fit, comfortable working across multiple floors and estate areas
- Trustworthy, discreet, and professional in all aspects of the role
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, particularly during shoot season
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
Working Schedule
- To work 5/6 days a week from the start of September until the end of January
- We will give the rota out in September but confirm each week one week in advance (as some changes may happen) – and can’t always give 2 days of together
- Accommodation provided but again drivers essential as will not be onsite
Additional information
- Must hold a valid DBS
- Must have a clean drivers licence and transport
- Salary £25.00 per hour depending on experience
