Our clients, located in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside, are
seeking an experienced Domestic Couple to assist in the smooth
running of their Grade II listed property. This family home is
part of a larger estate with a dedicated team already in place to
support its management. The Domestic Couple will play an integral
role in ensuring the home is maintained to the highest standards.
Candidates should have experience in a similar role, whether in
private households or on superyachts, and bring a professional
approach with great attention to detail. While this is not the
family’s primary residence, it requires consistent care and
expert management.
Key Responsibilities:
• High-standard housekeeping with strong attention to detail
• Care and cleaning of antiques
• Maintenance of specialised surfaces
• Fabric care and wardrobe management
• General house management, including stock control and inventory
• Houseman duties and general maintenance
• Chauffeuring and car care
• Pool maintenance
• Greeting and assisting guests
• Providing service for smaller gatherings (additional staff
hired for large functions)
• Light cooking as needed (a chef is hired for larger events)
• Caring for the family’s dogs
Requirements:
• A genuine appreciation for rural living and the countryside
• Previous experience in private households or on superyachts
• Both candidates must hold a valid driving licence (due to the
property’s location)
• Live in position (accommodation is not suitable for families)
Salary: £65,000–£75,000, dependent on experience (DOE)
