We are seeking a skilled and personable Chef or Cook to join a private household based primarily in London, with regular travel to Southampton.
This is a hands-on role within a warm, informal but fast-paced household. The successful candidate will bring strong culinary ability-in South Indian cuisine, Japanese and Italian-alongside flexibility, discretion, and a calm, adaptable approach to ever-changing schedules.

Essential:Strong expertise in South Indian cuisine (core requirement)
- Predominantly vegetarian cooking, with occasional chicken and fish

Desirable:Experience in Japanese, Italian, and/or Chinese cuisine
- Ability to prepare light desserts and snacks
- Confident meal planning for a household with varying schedules
Key Responsibilities
- Daily meal preparation tailored to individual preferences and timings
- Planning menus in line with dietary requirements and household routines
- Grocery shopping and sourcing high-quality ingredients
- Proactive stock management—minimising waste while maintaining readiness
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times
- Adapting quickly to last-minute changes in schedules or requirements

Salary: £35-£45.00 gross per day
