Domestic couple

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Domestic Couple to join a busy and welcoming family with 4 children, and their beloved family pets in their beautifully newly built family home near Chadlington.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for a professional couple who are proactive, discreet, and capable of managing and maintaining a household to a high standard. The couple will work alongside an existing team that includes a gardener and part-time housekeepers, all contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the home.

The property is situated on a lovely private estate with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The family has children, animals, and leads an active lifestyle, so flexibility, reliability, and a team-player mindset are essential for success in this role.

Duties outline but not limited to :

• Day-to-day care and upkeep of the home (cleaning, laundry, ironing, tidying, seasonal deep cleans)
• Overseeing household deliveries, tradespeople, and external contractors
• Housekeeping and wardrobe management
• Security and keyholder responsibilities
• Preparing fresh, family-style meals as required
• Supporting the Family with occasional child care
• Occasional Baby sitting
• Kitchen maintenance, food shopping, and pantry organisation
• Driving principals and children as needed (including occasional school runs)
• Vehicle maintenance (cleaning, fueling, servicing coordination)
• Running general errands (post office, picking up supplies, etc.)
• Basic gardening (mowing, weeding, watering)
• Outdoor maintenance (patios, pathways, bins, sheds, furniture)
• Liaising with external gardeners and ensuring the grounds remain presentable
• Supporting animal care if required -Dog walking and vet appointments if needed

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• A flexible, can-do attitude and proactive work ethic
• Trustworthiness, reliability, and excellent communication skills
• Practical skills across housekeeping, maintenance, and cooking
• Clean UK driving licences (both individuals)
• Happy to work in a family home
• Right to work in the UK

Accommodation:

A modern and fully refurbished 2-bedroom cottage is provided, located at the entrance of the estate with own small Private garden . Utilities are included.

Location: Near Chadlington, Oxfordshire

Position: Full-Time, Live-in

Start Date: September 2025

Accommodation: Recently refurbished 2-bedroom cottage located at the entrance to the estate, Gas and Electricity not included

Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 gross per annum (negotiable for the right couple)
