A warm and welcoming family living in a beautifully maintained home near Virginia Water, Surrey, are looking to hire a reliable and proactive Part-Time Housekeeper to support the smooth running of their household.
Key Responsibilities:
- General housekeeping duties including cleaning, tidying, and home organisation
- Changing bed linens and ensuring bedrooms are fresh and neat
- Laundry care and ironing, with attention to fine fabrics
- Deep cleaning during periods when the family are away
- Assisting with packing and unpacking for travel
- Running occasional errands as required
The home is spacious and features several bedrooms and bathrooms, along with premium amenities such as a gym, sauna, and an outdoor pool with a pool house.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experienced and confident in all areas of housekeeping, with an eye for detail
- Skilled in the care of luxury furnishings, fine materials, and specialist flooring
- Previous experience in a similar private household role with excellent references
- Friendly and personable, while remaining professional and respectful of the family’s privacy
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a personal vehicle (due to limited public transport)
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and works well as part of a team
- Organised, efficient, and capable of managing tasks independently
- Strong communication skills and good spoken English
- Confident with basic household technology (intercoms, smart TVs, etc.) and use of WhatsApp
Role Details:
- Days: Monday to Friday, occasional weekend support (pre-planned)
- Hours: 4 hours per day, open to flexibility
- Rate: £20–£22 gross per hour
