Our clients, a lovely family of 5, living in the Newbury area in Berkshire, are looking for a live-in or live-out Head Housekeeper to assist in their family home. The family consists of mother, father, and 3 younger children. The family also have two dogs – Labrador and Spaniel. There are part-time Cleaners and Gardeners, an Estate Manager and a Nanny already employed in the house that you will assist.
We are looking for someone who is child and dog-friendly, proactive, takes pride in their work, has great attention to detail, happy to be flexible and work to a high standard. This role has formal elements to it so it would be expected that the right candidate presents themselves well and is able to perform simple front of house skills like greeting guests and providing refreshments, with occasional food preparation for the children.

The ideal candidate must be experienced, responsible, discreet, and happy to work in a team.
A full UK driving license would be a bonus.
Accommodation: 1-bedroom cottage however the role can be live in or out
House: Beautiful large country house – 10 bedrooms, 3 storey
Hours: Flexible, Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday (inclusive) 5 day work week
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience and accommodation
