Our client, based in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced House Manager/PA to oversee the seamless day-to-day operation of their private residence. The household is home to four permanent family members, with extended family and guests visiting frequently.
This is a newly created position, reflecting the family’s desire to introduce a dedicated professional who can ensure the highest standards are maintained across all aspects of the home. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate a team of 10 household staff, in addition to four drivers, ensuring duties are carried out efficiently, proactively, and to an exceptional standard.
The overarching objective is to run the residence with the professionalism, attention to detail, and service excellence of a luxury five-star hotel, creating a well-organised, welcoming, and impeccably maintained environment for the family and their guests.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the residence.
- Act as the central point of coordination between the Principal, drivers, and household staff, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Ensuring the home is consistently maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
- Managing and supervising all household staff, ensuring duties are completed properly and efficiently.
- Conducting regular inspections to ensure nothing is missing, damaged, broken, or in need of maintenance.
- Coordinating repairs, maintenance appointments, contractors, and service providers.
- Managing household inventories, supplies, groceries, cleaning products, and household goods.
- Ensuring kitchens, storage rooms, wardrobes, and household spaces remain organized and fully stocked.
- Allocating household supplies and ensuring all necessary items are available when needed.
- Preparing the home for guests, family gatherings, and special occasions.
- Managing vendor relationships and obtaining quotations when required.
In addition, the candidate should be capable of acting as a personal sourcing and procurement coordinator:
- If provided with a photo, screenshot, social media post, or reference image of an item, they should be able to identify it or locate a similar alternative.
- Source furniture, décor, home accessories, fashion items, gifts, appliances, organizational products, and other requested items.
- Compare multiple suppliers and obtain the best available pricing while maintaining quality standards.
- Present options, quotations, and recommendations for approval.
- Coordinate purchases, deliveries, installations, and returns when necessary.
- Handle sourcing requests with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail.
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience as a House Manager, Estate Manager, Lifestyle Manager, Executive Housekeeper, Butler Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills – Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership, ensuring requests are handled quickly, accurately, and without unnecessary delays.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with all staff members while maintaining appropriate authority and accountability.
- Possess strong leadership and management skills, with the confidence to be firm and decisive when required while fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Be highly responsive, energetic, and action-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness.
- Fluent English required.
- Experience working with VIP or high-net-worth families is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of household operations, maintenance coordination, procurement, and vendor management.
